TOEFL® iBT

The TOEFL® (Test of English as a Foreign Language™) test is required at more than 6,000 institutions and agencies throughout the world.  TOEFL® iBT is the newest version of ETS’ proficiency test designed to assess English language skills in academic settings.  Students wishing to take the official TOEFL® iBT can take the test at any ELS Language Center throughout the US.

IELTS Testing

IELTS™ (the International English Language Testing System) is one of the fastest growing English language tests in the world.  Thousands of universities recognize IELTS scores as a proof of English proficiency.  Students can take the IELTS™ test in any of the eight (8) following ELS locations:  Boston, Chicago, Houston, Manhattan, Portland, St. Petersburg, San Francisco, and Santa Monica.

Test of English for International Communication - TOEIC

The Test of English for International Communication™ (TOEIC®) is the test widely accepted by corporations and government agencies from around the world.  ELS offers the TOEIC® Exam at the following Centers:  Chicago, Houston, Oklahoma City, Philadelphia, Seattle and St. Paul. Pre-Arrival Testing (PAT)

ELS offers 12 levels of instruction from Beginning to Masters levels, with four weeks of instruction per level.  Students who wish to know their starting ELS level before coming to the US may choose to take the ELS “PAT” (Pre-Arrival Test).  Selected ELS agents administer the test on-line in their offices for a small fee, paid by credit card.
